Current opportunities
Born in Wānaka, Wilson & Dorset has been designing beautiful sheepskin products for over a decade. We're now on the lookout for a dynamic, people-loving Store Manager to help us grow our presence in Canterbury.
This role is for you if
- You're a natural leader who loves building great team culture
- You get a buzz from selling (yep, we love sales, it's how we get more of our sheepskin magic into people's homes)
- You're curious, approachable, and love creating authentic connections with customers
- You're full of creative ideas to grow local brand awareness, think community initiatives and grassroots hustle
- You're a quick thinker and fast learner, able to pick up systems, processes and solve problems
- You take pride in a store that looks beautiful, runs smoothly and feels welcoming, from rostering to inventory to in-store vibe
What's in it for you
- Join a fun, ambitious, down-to-earth crew who genuinely enjoy working together
- Be part of a growing global brand where your voice is heard and your ideas matter
- Take on real ownership, we'll support you, but you'll have the freedom to make your mark
- A competitive salary, sales bonus, some flexibility (we know retail has its moments) and a family-first approach
- A generous product allowance to bring a little Wilson & Dorset home with you
Some weekend work and occasional travel may be required. Sound like your kind of thing?
Sheepskin has comforted humans for over 100,000 years. At Wilson & Dorset, we turn it into pieces for modern living, easing synthetics out of our day-to-day and welcoming back a more grounded way of being.
As we grow across New Zealand, Australia and beyond, we're looking for a natural organiser to cover maternity leave as our Marketing Project Manager. This is a hands-on delivery role: you'll be the one who makes strategy happen, shipping on-brand work across retail, ecommerce, social and trade, with full ownership of process, production and execution end-to-end.
What you'll bring
- A proven track record managing marketing projects and production schedules, brief to delivery
- 5+ years across the marketing mix: retail, ecommerce and social/digital
- Excellent organisational skills, keeping multiple projects, timelines and budgets on track at once
- Strong communication skills and the confidence to manage suppliers, contractors and stakeholders
- Tech-savvy and curious, with genuine enthusiasm for using AI to work smarter
- A decisive, hands-on approach, comfortable making sound, on-brand calls in the moment
Based in Wānaka, working closely with a small, supportive team, with a competitive salary, family-first approach, and a generous product allowance to bring a little Wilson & Dorset home.
